Safety notices rarely reach the people who own the product. We track official recall registers for home categories and summarise them here in plain language, with the affected batches and the remedy offered.

Check the plate, not the box

Recalls are issued by batch and production date, which appear on the rating plate rather than the retail packaging.

Stop using, then claim

Where a fire or shock risk is cited, manufacturers are obliged to offer repair, replacement or refund regardless of proof of purchase in most jurisdictions.

Register new appliances

Registration is the only mechanism that gets a recall notice to you directly. It takes two minutes and is the single highest-value admin task after a delivery.
